BEST WESTERN PLUS MONTREAL DOWNTOWN- HOTEL EUROPA, Montreal – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is a convenient spot overall, with large rooms and super comfortable beds, although the outside noise was noticeable. The service was accommodating overall, with a mix of very professional and less knowledgeable staff. The location is great for being downtown and near attractions, like the Bell Centre. The dining experience was average, and facilities were satisfactory.

The hotel had some positives like clean and newer rooms, but there were notable downsides too, such as very small room size, strong citrus scent, and lack of ventilation. The service was accommodating and nice but had issues with billing. The location was very convenient, close to metro lines, dining, and entertainment, with a perfect walking distance to popular attractions. The dining experience was good and reasonably priced. However, some facilities, like the room size and scent, were lacking.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very clean, but they were on the smaller side for a double bed. The service was professional and friendly, but I had to deal with some issues like drunken teenagers and an unfriendly check-out. The location was ideal for exploring the Downtown area, being within walking distance of many attractions. The dining options were convenient and served until late, which was a plus. However, the lack of service during my stay was a downside considering the price paid.

The dining options were limited with slow check-in, but there were nearby restaurants for variety. Overall, the facilities were adequate but not exceptional, meeting basic needs for a stay in December in Montreal.

Despite the age of the hotel, my stay was pretty good overall. The rooms could have been cleaner as there was a smell of cigarettes in the bathroom, but facing the internal courtyard made it quiet despite the small size of the room.
